With the rapid and highly interesting changes to the technology in our mobile phones it would seem that public interest in home phones has declined completely. Verizon is hoping to change that with their desktop Hub, a touchscreen desktop phone that can’t fit into a purse let alone a pocket. The large touchscreen sports widgets for directions, weather, traffic reports and one-touch calling while the ability to store and save contacts and calendar information from any location allows for easy syncing. Best of all is the fact that the attractive screen can be used for visual voicemail as well!
